A Lesson in Isolation

So I've decided to take a lesson on isolation. I deactivated all of my online accounts that connect me to people. This is a finite lesson to last until the end of the summer. But the reasons for this bore me so on to other thoughts.

I think from now on when people start talking politics or diets I am going to state quite simply that I believe in the primacy of degeneration and insects and fungi; Everything degenerates, almost anything can get a fungus, and insects can withstand way more environmental extremes than we can. So in the end we all get eaten by bugs and fungi anyway. Your politics are pointless as are your diets because democrat, republican, vegetarian, paleo, carnivore, starbucksavore you will be spores or poop someday.
